After a three-month pause, Russian majors have finally resumed crude oil shipments to neighboring Belarus, a premium market for Russian oil bar- rels and an essential one today when refineries abroad are slashing crude imports and reducing runs amid plummeting demand due to the coro- navirus pandemic. Transneft confirmed to Energy Intelligence that three Russian majors finally signed all the necessary ship- ping documents allowing the Russian national oil pipeline monopoly to start shipments to Belarus on Apr. 6. Transneft didn’t reveal which compa- nies are supplying the crude or in what volumes.
