Gazprom Awards Sakhalin-3 Deal

Russian state gas giant Gazprom has awarded US service company FMC Technologies a $190 million equipment contract to help develop its Kirinskoye gas and condensate field in the Kirinsky Block on Russia’s Pacific shelf. The deal, signed by Gazprom subsidiary Gazprom Dobycha Shelf, envisages the manufacture and supply of subsea production equipment for the field, FMC Technologies said in a statement. FMC said its “scope of supply includes the manufacture of subsea production trees, a manifold, wellheads, multiphase meters, choke modules and subsea control modules.” Deliveries are scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2011.
