Natural gas futures pushed up into a higher trading range last week, propelled by sizzling US temperatures and a short squeeze on funds. July gas prices climbed to four- month highs well above $5/MMBtu before profit taking emerged going into the weekend. For the time being, July gas now appears range-bound from the $4.50s to $5.20s.
