US suppliers have raised prices for containerized scrap to the Far East owing to last-week successful sales as well as following Japanese rivals who increased prices again on June 11. No deals have been reported yet. According to Metal Expert’s data, offers of US HMS 1&2 (80:20) to Taiwan have moved up $6-8/t to $358-359/t CFR, whereas bid prices do not exceed $355/t CFR.
