Gerdau caught up in Brazilian anti-corruption probe

Police have searched the offices of Gerdau in five Brazilian cities, seizing computers, documents, mobilephones and other potential sources of information in relation to alleged tax evasion of up to BRL1.5 bn ($400M, ?367 M). The steel maker denies any wrong doing.Federal police have summoned the company's chief executive to testify on the matter.
