Hyundai Steel Secures More Deepsea Scrap Cargo

South Korea’s Hyundai Steel Co has secured a second deepsea bulk cargo of 40,000 tons for import ferrous scrapfrom Australia-based Sims Metal Management Ltd at around US$179/MT C&F for No1 HMS after Hyundai Steel’spurchase of the first cargo of 48,000 tons from Sims this week at the corresponding C&F price level.Each cargo is scheduled for April delivery. But there is a fluid side to delivery time because the shiploading site forone cargo would differ from that for another cargo.
