China Zhejiang Satellite’s new PDH plant starts trial runs

Singapore— China’s Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical Co. started trial runs at its new propane dehydrogenation plant in Jiaxing, eastern China’s Zhejiang province, a week ago, a company source said Wednesday. Satellite Petrochemical’s PDH plant, with annual propane demand of 540,000 mt and propylene production capacity of 450,000 mt/ year, is the third PDH facility to go on streams in China after Tianjin Bohai Chemical and Ningbo Haiyue, which were put into operation last September and last month, respectively.
