SK eyes new avenues with Singapore LPG terminal

Singapore-SK Gas, South Korea’s leading LPG supplier, plans to use the Vopak Banyan Terminal located in Singapore’s Jurong Island to boost LPG trading opportunities and flexibility. SK Gas International, the investment arm of SK Gas, has a 20% stake in the new terminal with the remaining 80% held by Vopak Terminals Singapore, a unit of Royal Vopak. The terminal is Southeast Asia’s first independent LPG import and storage facility and has a capacity of 80,000 cu m with expansion potential.
