China imports less Saudi Arabian crude

Singapore —China’s crude imports from top supplier Saudi Arabia fell year-on-year in October, while imports from most other major suppliers rose, according to detailed data released this week by the General Administration of Customs. Saudi Arabia sent 3.99 million mt, or 942,272 b/d, of crude to China. But the volume dropped 12.5% year on year, despite China’s total crude imports rising 9.4% in the same period to 26.35 million mt, or 6.23 million b/d.
