OPEC slashes non-OPEC supply forecast

London-OPEC on Monday said it now expect- ed demand for its crude to average 29.21 million b/d this year, 430,000 b/d more than the oil producer group forecast a month ago, due to lower-than-previously-forecast supply from non-OPEC producers. The revision also means that demand for OPEC crude is expected to grow by 120,000 b/d year on year rather than decline by 330,000 b/d, as previously forecast.
