摘要

Singapore—India’s oil product demand growth slowed to 0.9% year on year to 12.58 million mt, or 3.19 million b/d, in August—the slowest growth rate so far in the 2014-15 (April-March) fiscal year, data released Tuesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell showed. This was led by a slowdown in diesel demand growth and negative growth for fuel oil, naphtha and kerosene, the data showed. Total oil demand over January-August 2014 rose 2.2% year on year to 107.93 million mt. India’s oil product demand in August contracted 4.5% from July, led by a 10.7% fall in diesel demand, which was attributed to the monsoons.
