Singapore—China’s National Development and Reform Commission has reduced domestic retail prices of gasoline and diesel by Yuan 105/mt ($17.10/mt) and Yuan 100/mt, respectively, effective midnight Tuesday. The reduction represents the third fuel price cut since June 23. Gasoline prices were last reduced by Yuan 190/mt and diesel prices by Yuan 185/mt on August 18. In Beijing, the benchmark retail gasoline price will be Yuan 9,400/mt after the change, a 1.1% decrease, with the retail diesel price down by a similar percentage to Yuan 8,655/mt.
