Bidders for Greece’s DEPA face price challenge

London—The head of one the companies bidding for Greek natural gas supplier DEPA believes its new owner’s top priority should be to provide its customers with cheaper gas. Evangelos Mytilineos, managing director of Greek industrial group Mytilineos Holdings, said in a statement that Greek industry and households were currently provided with the most expensive gas in Europe, ranging between $13/MMBtu to $14/MMBtu.
