US degree days indicator through October 27

New York - The degree days indicator for US heating oil demand so far this heating season (through October 27) was 5.99% less then the corresponding period of the last season and 5.8% less then normal. The indicator is comprised of the average degree days for 18 geographically representative US cities, weighted to reflect the cities’ relative consumption of home heating oil.
