Chevron moves ahead on Bangladesh field expansion

London—Chevron said July 30 it plans to go ahead with a $500 million project to expand production at its Bibiyana natural gas field in northwest Bangladesh. The project includes the expansion of a gas plant to process increased gas volumes from the field, additional development wells, and an enhanced gas liquids recovery unit, the company said.
