NYMEX crude price drops more than $3/b

New York-New York Mercantile Exchange May crude futures settled sharply lower April 12 at $106.25/b, down $3.67, as worries over the impact of high oil prices led to a steady stream of profit taking in the petro- leum complex. NYMEX May crude dipped to an intra- session low of $105.47/b, while European counterpart ICE May Brent fell to a session low of $120/b, down nearly $4, then settled at $120.92/b, down $3.06.
