UAE set to start Fujairah oil pipeline soon, Hamli says

Quito-A crude oil pipeline linking Abu Dhabi oil fields with the port of Fujairah will start pumping soon, UAE oil minister Mohammed Bin Dhaen al-Hamli said December 11. The 404 km pipeline, originating in Hab- shan in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, is designed to carry 1.5 million b/d of crude to the emirate of Fujairah, a major bunkering port that lies outside the Strait of Hormuz. Fujairah is one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE federation.
