Lagos-Nigerian white collar oil union Pengas- san demanded November 29 that the govern- ment release 10 of its members arrested last week over a bribery scandal involving awards of contracts for the Bonny LNG plant. The 10 Pengassan members were Hal- liburton staff who were arrested at their offices November 25 by operatives of the Eco- nomic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) along with the country managers of Italian oil services giant Saipem, Giuseppe Surace, and Technip, Frank Pliya (ON 11/29).
