US’ Linn buys Permian assets for $352 million

Washington-US producer Linn Energy said September 7 it would buy oil and natural gas properties in the Wolfberry Trend of the Permian Basin of Texas in three separate deals valued at $352.2 million. The sellers were not identified. The Houston-based company said it expected the acquisitions to close before the end of November 2010 and be financed with proceeds from borrowings under its revolving credit facility.
