Demand to fall 1 million b/d in 2009: IEA

London-The International Energy Agency February 11 cut its estimate of world oil demand in 2009 following a recent reassessment of expected economic growth by the International Monetary Fund. In its latest monthly oil market report, the IEA said it now expected demand to fall by 1 million b/d this year, the biggest drop in annual oil consumption since 1982.
