Most Indian refiners on track to meet gasoil changes

Singapore-Most Indian refiners are on track to complete the necessary upgrades to their plants to produce gasoil equivalent to Euro III and IV specifications as the October 1 deadline to rollout Euro III fuels across the country approaches, industry sources said this week. Only two refineries belonging to state-run refinery Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited are lagging behind in their upgrades and will not be able to meet the October 1 deadline, a source familiar with the matter said.
