Singapore-Chinese state-owned Sinopec started up a new 1 million mt/year (20,000 b/d) catalytic reforming unit at its 15.7 million mt/year Guangzhou refinery in Guangdong province in the second half of April, a refinery source said April 24.The new unit has increased the South China refinery's total designed catalytic reforming capacity to 1.4 million mt/year from 400,000 mt/year.
