Moscow-Russia and Ukraine have agreed on a new higher price for oil transit to Europe, averting the threat of another year-end supply crisis after the countries reached a deadlock over pipeline transit fees. Under the deal, Russia's Transneft agreed to pay up to 30% more for Russian crude shipped via Ukraine to Europe in 2010, Ukraine's state energy company Naftogaz said December 29, declining to provide absolute figures.
