Shell shuts in some Nigeria output after fire

London-Shell has shut in about 37,000 b/d of crude production in Nigerials Rivers State after a wellhead fire forced the closure of a flow station,the company said Feb 16."A fire incident was reported in the Cawthorne Channel in the early hours of this morning," a spokesman said,adding that a company fire crew had been sent to the site and that the fire had been contained to the wellhead area.
