International crude: Dated Brent hits new high

Dated Brent/BFOE hit a fresh high at 136.79/barrel Thursday as the underlying crude complex rallied in what was seen as a technical move. Differentials to forward Dated Brent on the majority of the North Sea sweet grades were also higher, on continued strong demand. While lower freight rates were cited as a factor boosting the value of terminal grades, the value of offshore grades appeared to rise on the back of demand alone.
