Iran opens for business

It didn't take long for the first announcement of a transaction between a post-sanction Iran and a western world corporate. This week President Hassan Rouhani tweeted: "The legs of Iran's economy are now free of the chains of sanctions, and it's time to build and grow." On the same day, transport minister Abbas Akhoondi told a local news agency that Iran intended to buy over 100 aircraft from Airbus, a deal said to be worth as much as US$10 billion.
