Norway Oil Up, Gas Down

Norwegian oil production inched up 26,000 b/d month-on-month to 2.087 million b/d in April, according to preliminary data released on Friday by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD). Growth was more than two-thirds down on expectations, largely attributable to an upward revision in preliminary estimates for natural gas liquids (NGL) output in March. NGL production in March, originally assessed at 209,000 b/d, was bumped up by 46,000 b/d to 255,000 b/d (IOD Apr.14,p7).
