Norway to Sell Lofoten Seismic

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate(NPD) said on Thursday it is to market 2-Dand 3-D seismic data that it collected be-tween 2007 and 2009 offshore the Lofoten,Vesteralen and Senja islands in the NordlandVII and Troms II areas — part of the Norwe-gian Sea that is now closed to oil and gas ex-ploration. The data are being prepared forsale as a single data package at the end of2011, the NPD said. More detailed informa-tion might be offered later.
