摘要

Russia is pushing on with its Prirazlom-noye development in the Pechora Sea - despite a few minor hitches that threaten to push back start-up of the country's first-ever Arctic oil development by a few months. Gas giant Gazprom said last week that it started to tow the Prirazlomnaya ice-resistant platform out to sea from the Zvezdochka ship repair center in Murmansk, in the far northeast of Russia, where it was brought last year after the first stage of work was carried out. The platform is being moved by the Vladislav Strizhov icebreaker, as well as three tugs, with help from outside specialists from the Scottish Global Maritime marine, offshore and engineering consultancy.
