UK-based Premier Oil was at one point Thursday among the top three gainers on the London Stock Exchange, with its share price up as much as 7% to ￡12.62 ($18.80), fol- lowing a management statement lacking any obvious catalyst for the jump. It said produc- tion in the year to date was merely in line with expectations and maintained full-year guidance at 44,000 boe/d.
