Bayer plans $1 billion capex in US

Bayer CropScience plans to have invested nearly $1,000 million in capital expenditure in the US between 2013 and 2016. Two-thirds of the investment is to expand production capacity, with further expenditure on research and development infrastructure. That is part of a global investment programme of some $3,300 million.
