NATO ACCS

Forecast International projects ThalesRaytheonSystems will construct 22 NATO ACCS Level of Capability 1 command and control sites over the next 10 years; Look for the NATO ACCS to incorporate the most modern technologies and make full use of up-to-date data link communications; Expect the NATO ACCS LOC 1 to reach Initial Operational Capability sometime in 2009. The NATO Air Command and Control System (ACCS) will provide command and control for all offensive and defensive air operations undertaken by NATO countries in Europe. The NATO ACCS is a system composed of multiple systems (a "system-of-systems"). As such, the focus of this report is on the NATO ACCS as a whole rather than the individual systems that compose it.
