Characteristics of Supported Liquid Phase Organometallic Catalysts and Application of Them to Multifunctional Catalyst Systems

Supported liquid phase catalysts (SLPC) are easily separated and recyclable after reactions. It has been reviewed how the activity of palladium based SLPC for the Heck reaction depends on the catalyst preparation and reaction conditions and on the recycle use of the catalyst. It has been also shown that, using the form of SLPC, two or more organometallic catalysts can be simultaniously used with retaining their own activities and the advantage of separation.
