The cutting performance of oscillating electric shavers depends on the oscillation frequency of the cutting edges: more rapid oscillation results in a faster and smoother shave. MEW has developed a linear oscillation motor that achieves higherfrequencies than conventional DC motors. The linear motor features an improved vibrating structure, magnetic circuit and feedback control. Products based on this motor give the user an exceptionally close shave, and are faster, quieter and lower invibration than conventional shavers.
