摘要

The paper presents some findings of the investigation of finish turning of KhVG hardened steel using a cutting tool with an insert made of a cubic boron nitride based composite (cBN - Si_3N_4 system). The behavior of tool wear throughout the machining time as well as the influence of the tool wear on cutting force components and resulting cutting force have been clarified.
