摘要

Blends of polycarbonate(PC)with three thermoplastic polyesters namely poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET),poly(trimethylene terephthalate)(PTT)and poly(butylene terephthalate)(PBT)have been individually melt blended over the entire composition range.The mechanical,rheological and morphological properties are examined and compared.Impact strength of PET and PBT seems to improve,while very marginal changes are observed for PTT,on addition of PC.Flexural modulus of the blends is higher than that of PC.Rheological data seems to indicate the miscibility could also be temperature dependent.
