JH Fletcher and Huesker Inc. Combine Efforts to Improve Safety

For years, the miners and management at Oxbow Mine in Somerset, CO, have looked for a safer solution to roof and rib meshing. In particular, Jens Lange, Production Superintendent, and Jamie Beard, Maintenance Superintendent, have tried many devices and methods to reduce material handling injuries, miner/machine proximity issues, and to protect miners from material falling out of the roof/rib intersection.
