Teck selects BMT's payload monitoring system

BMT WBM, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd has agreed to provide its Pulse TerraMetrix RS system to Canada's largest mining company, Teck Resources. This system will manage the machine health, production and payload measurement of shovel 30 (P&H 4100) at Teck's Greenhills operation, 8 km northeast of Elkford, in southeast British Columbia. It comprises of 11,806 ha of coal lands of which approximately 2,265 ha have been mined or are scheduled for mining.
