摘要

Spherical roller bearings can be put into two categories in terms of roller profile of the barrel shape; one is symmetrical and the other is asymmetrical. In the previous report, we had developed a quasi-static analysis program for spherical roller bearings and determined the effect of the symmetry of roller profile on bearing characteristics. In this report, we compare numerical and experimental bearing torques for each type of bearing under radial and combined load conditions and confirm the validity of the analysis and the previous report conclusions.
