摘要

This paper presents a study on the effect of vertical vibration of a sliding pin on the coefficient of friction. Frequency characteristics of coefficient of friction were obtained by both experimental studies and theoretical analysis. For the vibrating pin on fiat apparatus considered here, we used a relatively simple dynamic model consisting of a nonlinear two degree-of-freedom. One is the vertical displacement and the other is the horizontal displacement of the sliding pin. By the discussion of mechanisms of the effect of vibration it was made clear that the reduction of friction is mainly attributed to the reduction of contacting load during sliding. Almost all the frequency characteristics of friction were successfully determined by the dynamic motion analysis.
