摘要

The measurement of sliding friction of loach's surface-skin covered with slime was conducted as an experimental model for evaluating the frictional property of a living body's internal soft-skin. A method of removing the slime without damaging the skin was proposed. Also, it was confirmed that the slim contains sulfate radicals. Specimens were live loaches with slime and dead loaches with and without slime. Starting friction coefficients of them were obtained from a simple "inclination method" using an inclined board, where the friction coefficient was defined by the angle at which a loach began to slide down. Influence of matching board materials to friction property was also evaluated. The obtained data were treated statistically. Marked differences in friction were found depending on the condition of the loaches, especially when soft-glass or PMMMA was used as the board material.
