Two New Species of the Genus Oberea DEJEAN from Taiwan (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae)

Oberea breviantennalis sp. nov. and Oberea komiyai sp. nov. are described. These had been recorded in the past as O.fuscipennis and O. walkeri from Taiwan, respectively. According to NAKAMURA et al. (1992), 11 species of Oberea have been known from Taiwan, including the species Oberea fuscipennis (CHEVROLAT, 1852) originated in Shanghai and O. walkeri GAHAN, 1894 originated in Hong Kong. In the course of our revisional study on the Asian species of the genus Oberea, we have noticed that O. fuscipennis specimens from Taiwan are not readily identical with O.fuscipennis from the mainland of China. Taiwanese specimens known as O. walkeri are also not identical with the specimens of O. walkeri from the type locality, Hong Kong. After a close comparison of these specimens, it was concluded that these two species should be new to sciences.
