In [1-5], data were presented on hypothetical Venusian fauna existing under physical conditions that are radically different from terrestrial conditions. Along with unknown forms, objects were found whose shapes resembled certain creature on Earth. This phe- nomenon, i.e., similarity to Earth's fauna, was called terramorphism. Among the objects found on the VENERA-9 panorama, an object conventionally called a Teddy Bear [3] was observed. The angular res- olution corresponding to this panorama attained 21′. Therefore, in spite of the close proximity of the Teddy Bear to the TV camera lens, the recognition of fine details was rather limited.
