UK oil and gas IT consulting company ISN is helping oil and gas companies get more efficiency out of their network communications bandwidth, helping them run software applications over a satcom link, and letting geoscientists work on their models remotely. ISN was founded in 1999 by a group of ex employees from Enterprise Oil. It serves a number of UK small to medium sized oil and gas companies, including Tullow Oil, Petroceltic, Afren, Premier Oil, Northern Petroleum and Summit Petroleum.
