As mentioned in their letter, numerous studies have established that exclusive ent-eral nutrition (EEN) is effective in the induction of remission of active Crohn's disease (CD), especially in children. Fur thermore, EEN provides many additional benefits, including improved nutrition and high levels of mucosal healing [5].
