Alan Roper is a different sort of garden retailer and his new centre, Le Friquet in Guernsey, is introducing a different way to sell garden products and plants. The "Polo" or"doughnut" concept is Roper's own, and features a circular area to sell products surrounding a central planteria, which is visible from every part of the garden centre.
