Genotype x environment interaction for grain yield in sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench)

The availability of analytical approaches in different crops has facilitated various workers to study the stability of yield and its associated characters. In (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench), although several cultivars have been evolved for yield superiority and agronomic traits, not much information is available on the consistency of performances of the genotype over years and locations. An attempt was therefore made to study the phenotypic stability, of grain yield in this crop.
