摘要

The NFD method may be seen as a microearthquake belonging to seismological methods of OGD prospecting. It is based on physicochemical processes that occur in a porous fractured vuggy reservoir rock filled with liquid or gaseous HCs. The frequency range of the NFD method lies within the infrasonic area (1-5 Hz) and depends weakly on the formation pressure. Both structural and nonstructural hydrocarbon deposits are identified effectively and specified by fluid type (oil or gas).
