There are certain liquids, which, due to their composition, characteristics, or how they react to process conditions will create problems when it comes to pumping. Emulsions are just such a "difficult" liquid, a good example being latex, the properties of which require a specific type of pump. It was a task accepted by Michael Smith Engineers when called in by a firm specialising in road construction. The Wanner Hydra-Cell was chosen as fit for purpose and has delivered trouble-free operation.
