Energy usage is cut by 50% at global gateway

Hopes to significantly cut energy use at Heathrow, one of the world's busiest airports, have been realised in a matter of months by a partnership of the travel hub's water services department and global water technology provider Xylem. Energy consumption at the London destination's cargo centre pump station have been halved since Xylem, utilising its Flygt Experior system, was commissioned to study the airport's wastewater pumping use.
